Water recycling plant refurbished with FRP grating and handrails

Treadwell presented FRP grating as well as composite handrails to serve the purpose of refurbishing a portion of a water recycling plant in Parklea.

Generally, this category of plant performs the processing of some of the most corrosive and aggressive liquids and the resulting corrosion in the traveling piping is one of the major problems faced. Periodically, the corrosion also deeply affects maintenance at these facilities.

With the introduction of Treadwell’s FRP grating and handrails, the client at Parklea witnessed firsthand the durability and performance of the chosen material. FRP is impervious to corrosion with the right resin formula and will not rust. Being lightweight and requiring almost no maintenance, it was an easy decision to choose Treadwell’s products.
