Treadwell Group offers FRP solution for substation switch tower
When approached to provide materials for a switch tower platform, it was easy to satisfy the design considerations presented at the onset of the project. This is due to the RF transparency and non-conductive properties of FRP that are present in all the resin systems of Treadwell carry. To ensure easy installation, accessibility and maintenance of the platforms, Treadwell’s GratEX® Square grating was offered. The surface option is anti-slip in nature, making it safe so that the others can easily utilise them.
